Mahindra Car Sales June 2026 – Over 1,06,207 Units Sold

Mahindra sold 1,06,207 vehicles in June 2026, registering a 37% year on year growth compared to the same month last year. That figure includes both domestic sales and exports, and it marks one of the strongest months in the company’s history across its automotive division.

60,393 SUVs in a Single Month

Mahindra registered its highest ever domestic passenger vehicle sales of 60,393 SUVs in June 2026, reflecting a 28% year on year growth. The carmaker had sold 47,306 units in the same month last year.

Mahindra’s domestic passenger vehicle sales crossed the 60,000 unit mark for the first time in June, compared to 58,021 units sold in May 2026. This translates to a 4.1% month on month growth.

So not only did Mahindra beat last year’s June by a wide margin it also grew compared to last month. Both numbers moving in the right direction at the same time tells a very clear story: demand for Mahindra SUVs right now is genuinely strong.

Exports – A 125% Jump

The carmaker exported 5,918 units against 2,634 units in June 2025, registering a massive 125% annual growth. Including domestic and export markets, Mahindra’s total vehicle sales reached 1,06,207 units, marking a 37% year on year growth.

The SUV Lineup

Mahindra’s SUV portfolio includes models such as the Scorpio range, XUV700, Thar, Bolero Neo, XUV 3XO and its growing electric SUV lineup. Strong demand across these models has helped Mahindra maintain its sales momentum.

Scorpio Range (Scorpio N + Scorpio Classic)

The Scorpio twins remain the backbone of Mahindra’s SUV sales, consistently leading the model-wise rankings month after month. The Scorpio N in particular has been a game-changer since its launch, offering a premium feel, a powerful engine, and the Scorpio name that has earned trust over more than two decades. Based on recent data trends, the Scorpio range continues to contribute close to 28-30% of all Mahindra SUV sales every month.

Thar and Thar Roxx

The Thar family comprising the classic three-door Thar and the newer five-door Thar Roxx has become one of Mahindra’s most exciting growth stories. The Thar Roxx in particular, launched in late 2024, brought the Thar experience to a much larger audience of buyers who wanted more practicality without giving up the adventurous character. Together, the Thar twins have been regularly posting close to 9,000–12,000 units per month since the Roxx launched.

Bolero Range (Bolero, Bolero Neo, Bolero Neo Plus)

The Bolero is arguably India’s most resilient SUV. It has been on sale in various forms for over 25 years, and it continues to find buyers every single month, largely in semi urban and rural markets where its toughness and low running costs make perfect sense. The Bolero range accounts for roughly 15-17% of Mahindra’s total SUV sales on a regular basis.

XUV 3XO

The XUV 3XO is Mahindra’s entry point into the highly competitive compact SUV segment. It competes with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara, and has been doing so with a feature list that regularly surprises buyers in this price range including a panoramic sunroof, a large twin-screen setup, and multiple powertrain options including turbo-petrol and diesel.

XUV 7XO (Updated XUV700)

The XUV700 was relaunched in 2026 as the XUV 7XO, reflecting Mahindra’s new naming strategy. The XUV700 has been one of the most celebrated Indian car launches of the past five years, winning numerous awards for its technology and value, and it remains a strong monthly performer. The recently launched Mahindra XUV 7XO sold 8,630 units in April 2026, and the XUV 7XO is Mahindra’s second model with the newer nomenclature.

Electric SUVs – BE 6, XEV 9e, and XEV 9S

This is perhaps the most exciting part of Mahindra’s current product story. The born-electric SUV range which includes the bold, coupe-inspired BE 6 and the larger, premium XEV 9e has been selling strongly since launching in early 2025. Mahindra’s electric SUVs BE 6 and XEV 9e achieved 20,000 sales in just five months, capturing a 17% market share and demonstrating mainstream EV adoption in India’s premium SUV segment.

What the CEO Said

According to Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., “In June we achieved SUV sales of 60,393 units and LCV under 3.5T segment sales of 26,076 units delivering robust growth of 28% and 35%, respectively. The total vehicle sales stood at 1,06,207, a 37% YoY growth reflecting all-round demand traction across the portfolio.”

Tractor Business

Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “We have sold 58,177 tractors in the domestic market during June 2026 registering a growth of 12% over last year. In the export markets, we have sold 1,758 tractors, a growth of 8% over last year.”

Mahindra’s farm equipment business is the world’s largest tractor business by volume, and it too posted double-digit growth in June. This matters because it shows the company’s overall health, not just its car division, is performing well across the board.
