June 2026 kept us busy with some seriously big reveals the updated Toyota Innova Crysta, the Mercedes Benz S-Class facelift, the Maruti Wagon R flex-fuel, the new Citroen eC3X, and even the Porsche 911 GT3 made an appearance. We are now stepping into the second half of 2026, and seven very different cars are lined up to either launch or make their official debut next month. Let’s go through each one.

The most talked about names include the Renault Kwid facelift, Nissan Tekton, MG Starlight 560, Toyota Hilux, and Skoda Kodiaq RS. On top of that, long awaited models like the Tata Sierra EV are also being listed with July timing in some market trackers, although launch dates can still move by a few weeks.

The Kwid has been a familiar face on the roads for a long time now. It first arrived back in 2015, got its first facelift in 2019, and has now been sitting on the same basic design for seven years. That is a long time in the car world, and it shows.

On the inside, expect some genuinely useful upgrades too. Six airbags as standard would be a big step forward for safety, alongside a larger touchscreen, a new steering wheel, and an updated instrument cluster. The engine is expected to carry over unchanged a 69hp, 92.5Nm 1.0-litre petrol motor, paired with either a manual gearbox or an AMT automatic.

Currently, the Kwid is priced between roughly ₹4.30 lakh and ₹5.88 lakh, ex-showroom. With this facelift bringing more safety kit and features, a small price increase is likely, but it should still remain one of the most affordable cars you can buy.

This is one of the most anticipated debuts of the month. The Tekton is essentially Nissan’s own take on the hugely popular Renault Duster, and the teaser campaign leading up to its reveal has given us a good look at what to expect. Design-wise, the Tekton will feature LED headlights, pull-type door handles up front with C-pillar-mounted handles at the rear, multi-spoke alloy wheels, a distinctive twin-ridge spoiler, and sharp C-shaped tail-lights. It is a design that manages to feel familiar yet different enough to stand on its own.

Under the hood, buyers will get a choice between two turbo-petrol engines a 100hp, 166Nm 1.0-litre unit, and a more powerful 163hp, 280Nm 1.3-litre option. Both will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, while a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic will be reserved exclusively for the more powerful 1.3-litre engine.

In terms of pricing, expect the Tekton to land close to where the Duster currently sits, which ranges from around ₹10.49 lakh to ₹18.69 lakh for the top turbo-petrol variant. Once launched, the Tekton will compete in a genuinely crowded space, going up against the Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Maruti Grand Vitara, among others.

This one is a little more mysterious, but very exciting nonetheless. JSW MG Motor is set to debut a brand new SUV in July, and it is widely expected to be a rebadged version of the Wuling Starlight 560 a design that was patented in India earlier this year, back in March.

The Starlight 560 is a sizeable SUV, measuring 4,745mm in length. It comes with LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and LED tail-lights on the outside. Step inside, and this seven-seater offers a dual-tone cabin, a 12.8-inch touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, a 6-speaker audio system, a 50W wireless phone charger, and a panoramic sunroof. That is a genuinely well equipped cabin for the segment.

In international markets, this SUV is sold in both plug-in hybrid and fully electric versions. The PHEV combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a front-mounted electric motor, powered by a 20.5kWh battery. Together, this setup produces 195hp and 230Nm of torque, with a claimed range of over 1,000km a number that becomes possible because of the combined petrol and electric range working together. The fully electric version, meanwhile, uses a larger 69.2kWh battery paired with a 201hp motor, offering a CLTC-claimed range of 530km.

It is not yet confirmed which version will make its way to India first, but MG has a track record of pricing competitively, so this SUV could become a serious option. The PHEV version may rival the Mahindra XUV 7XO and Tata Safari, while the allelectric version could go up against the Mahindra XEV 9S.

The current Maruti Brezza has been on sale since 2022, and it is now due for a proper mid-life update. Several test vehicles have already been spotted, giving us a fairly clear picture of what is coming.

On the outside, expect revised bumpers and new alloy wheel designs. Inside, the biggest visual change will be a larger 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, replacing the current 9-inch unit. The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 103hp and 137Nm, is expected to continue with a choice of 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearboxes. A CNG option will likely remain available too, possibly using an underbody tank setup similar to the one seen on the Maruti Victoris, which would free up valuable boot space.

But here is the real headline change. The new Brezza is expected to gain a turbo-petrol engine option for the very first time. This is likely to be the same 1.0-litre three cylinder Boosterjet engine found in the Fronx, which makes 100hp and 148Nm there. It could come paired with a brand new 6-speed manual transmission, spy shots of which have already surfaced.

There is also a practical financial reason behind this move. A 1.0-litre turbo engine under 1,200cc would place those variants in a lower 18 percent tax bracket for sub-4-metre petrol cars, compared to the steep 40 percent tax currently applied to the 1.5-litre engine. Right now, the Brezza is priced between ₹8.26 lakh and ₹12.86 lakh, ex-showroom, and the new turbo variants could offer genuinely better value once the facelift arrives.

This is the one performance enthusiasts are most excited about, and the demand has already proven it. Even before an official price has been announced, the first 50 units allocated for India have already sold out completely.

Compared to the standard Kodiaq, the RS version stands apart with sportier bumpers, larger 20-inch alloy wheels, a bigger roof spoiler, dual exhaust tips, and RS badging throughout. Under the bonnet, it gets a retuned version of the standard Kodiaq’s 2.0-litre four cylinder turbo petrol engine, now producing 265hp and 400Nm of torque that is a healthy 61hp and 80Nm more than the regular model. Power goes through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, with all wheel drive sending that power to all four corners.

Skoda claims a 0-100kph time of just 6.3 seconds, making this officially the quickest Skoda ever to be launched in India. It also comes equipped with Dynamic Chassis Control Plus adaptive suspension, which adjusts the ride and handling characteristics depending on how you are driving.

Being a fully imported model, the Kodiaq RS is expected to be priced between ₹60 lakh and ₹65 lakh, ex-showroom. That puts it around ₹15-20 lakh above the locally assembled Kodiaq L&K variant, but for buyers chasing genuine performance in a seven seat SUV body, this could well be worth the premium.

Pre-bookings for the Honda ZR-V hybrid have already been open since May, and upon its official launch, it will become Honda’s new flagship SUV in the country. The ZR-V comes loaded with features, including LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, wraparound tail lights, a 9-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. That Bose system alone is the kind of feature you do not often see at this level.

Mechanically, the ZR-V hybrid uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine working alongside two electric motors. Combined, this setup produces 184hp and 315Nm of torque, with an e-CVT sending power to the front wheels. Honda claims a 0-100kph time of around 8 seconds, along with an impressive 22.79kpl fuel efficiency figure for a hybrid SUV of this size.

Since the ZR-V will arrive in India as a fully imported (CBU) model, pricing is expected to be around ₹45 lakh, ex-showroom. If that turns out to be accurate, it will place the ZR-V in the same company as the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tayron solid company to be in.

Toyota brought us the ninth-generation Hilux back in 2025, and like the model it replaced, this new pickup truck continues to be based on the brand’s body on frame IMV platform a setup known for being tough and dependable.

Visually, the new Hilux features slimmer LED headlights, a bold honeycomb-patterned front grille, vertically oriented tail-lamps paired with C-shaped LED daytime running lights, and a chunkier rear bumper that gives it real road presence. The cabin has also taken a big step forward in terms of modernity, now featuring twin 12.3-inch displays, a new steering wheel design, a wireless charging pad, and powered, ventilated front seats.

Under the hood, the new Hilux is expected to be offered with Toyota’s 204hp, 500Nm 2.8-litre diesel engine, paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system the same setup used in the Fortuner Neo Drive. This combination should offer a nice balance between everyday efficiency and the kind of low end pulling power that pickup truck buyers genuinely care about.
